Spotlighting Comedian Barry Gilbert

Barry and I met close to a year ago in a comedy writing class we were taking with teacher Christie Buchele. Getting straight to business, Barry has an in your face approach. With his unique outlook and sidekick Belinda, he’s for sure to have your funny bone working overtime. Quick witted, and kind I feel Barry is really carrying the torch for comedians like David Baddiel, Jeff Dunham, and the South African comedian, Conrad Koch. It takes a rare kind to make imaginary squirrels and birds in a relationship funny, which Barry appears to do with ease.

I was able to catch up with Barry at Spangalang Brewery where he’s a regular comedian every first Saturday of the month. If you’re ever in the Denver area, come by for a good laugh.
